Objective: Improve our attacking shape "get big" and possession.
Organization: 20x30 yard grid with small-sided goals on each end.
Instructions: Players play 4v4 to goals.
Variations: if you want to add passing to this exercise give 1 point for dribbling across line and 2 points for passing it to teammate who runs into endzone and controls it inside the endzone.

Objective: improve our passing, receiving, movement without the ball, and positional awareness.
Organization: 4v1 in 8x8 grid.
Instructions: players keep possession in 1 or 2 touch. Focus on quality passes, receiving ball across body, movement to support.
Variations: (1) make it a competition against other grids. Each team sends a defender to the other grid. You play for 1 minute. The team with the most consecutive passes in 1 minute wins. If any team reaches 15 passes within the minute they automatically win.
Key Coaching Points:
1. Quality passes,
2. Receiving ball across body,
3. Movement to support the ball.
4. Communication feet right feet left.
Warm-up 3 (10 mins)
Objective: to improve ball touch, control and flexibility.
Organization: players each have a ball on adjacent sides of 10x10 grid.
Instructions: Each group alternately crosses the grid after the other on the coach's call.
Variations: (1) dribble across grid, (2) boxing across the grid, (3) toe taps across the grid, (4) side slide across grid alternate directions. Etc
Key Coaching Points:
1. good technique on the touches;
2. eyes up once they get more comfortable;
3. demanding lots of repetitions.
