Organisation (Practice Layout & Transition)
Session on improving players passing in tight areas and also speed of making the pass, whilst teaching the mechanics of passing.
Mechanics:
1. Look at target
2. Eye on ball
3. Angle of approach
4. Non-kicking foot alongside ball in acomfortable position
5. Strike centre of ball with inside/ outside of foot (Identified area of ball)
6. Firm ankle
7. Follow through towards target

Equipment-10 cones, 5 balls
Technical:
Players will both stand on opposite cones to eachother. Players will have to pass the ball back and too, keeping the ball as close to eachother as possible.
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progress:
Add a touch limit to the passes for example one touch then pass
Use weak foot
Regress:
bring the cones closer together so the passes are shorter
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Make as many passes as possible without a pass going astray or a player making a mistake, team with the most passes wins

Equipment- 5 balls to maximise ball movement time, cones in a 20x20 square, 5 bibs
Skill:
Teams have to pass around the square, to score a point each player on the team has to touch the ball then once the team has completed that they then have to pass it into one of there players who are in 1 of the 4 zones around the edges of the square.
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progress:
Certain amount of touches for example 2 touch
weak foot only
Regress:
Not everyone on your team has to touch the ball

Outscore the other team

Equipment: 5 Balls, Cones in a 30X30 square, 5 bibs
Small sided game:
Players have to make 10 passes before they are allowed to score in the mini goal.
To score the players have to pass it first time into the goal.
Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Progress:
Make the square smaller so less space
Two touch
Regress:
Lower amount of passes required to score goal
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
Team with most points wins
