Main Part:Turning
Organization:
- Players pair up with partner
- 15 yards distance between cones
- Players dribble to middle cone and perform turn and then dribble back to the start and then player 2 would repeat the same action.
Players must perform the designated turns:
- Outside cut
- Inside Cut
- Pull back
- Cruyff turn

Small Sided Game: 4 Goal Game
- Use cones or pop-ups
- 3v3/4v4
- Team in possession can score in either any of the 4 goals
- Have extra balls ready on the outside
Variations: Add overloads i.e. 4v4 plus neutral player who plays for team who is ever in possession
Coaching Points:
- Can player work turn and when route is blocked/congested (Deceptive)
- Change direction/change speed
- Lead w/ arms to protect the ball from defender
- Movement to create space
- Support (front, behin, to the sides)

Warm-up: Turning/Shielding
1. 1 player/1 ball
- Players dribble freely inside the grid practicing their 1v1moves, All parts of both feet, R/L foot only.
2. Players dribble and perform the folowing turns as instructed:
- Make sure you demo each turn
a.. Inside Cut
b. Outside Cut
c. Pull Back
d. U-Turn
e. Cryuff Cut
f. Step-on
g. Spin Turn
3. Shielding
- Players working in pairs. Players facing each other with 1 ball. P1 would toss the ball up in the air and then control and protect the ball with P2 trying to win the ball from P1. P1 has to protect the ball for a specific time. Players would then switch/rotate.
Coaching Points:
- Bend knees/Low to the ground
- Inside cut (big toe)
- Outside cut (little toe)
- Distance of non-tunring foot
- Change of direction/Change of pace
- As players turn players arms out to protect ball
Shielding:
- Bend knees/ body low
- Use your arms/hands to protect the ball from defender
- Body shpae side-on/Dont be square
- Body between defender and the ball
