Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): CJS Match Prep: Playing Out 22/09/22 (Start Time: 2022-09-22 17:30:00)
Description
Players Available: ZG, BD, PG, MR, RH, DH, TD, DS, SM, DM, CL, OM, KR, LB, JS, CG, AI, SB, JW
Coaching Points:
OPEN BODY: Allows you to see bigger picture, play forward quicker and protect ball better
SCAN: Constantly, teammates, opposition, space - when the balls on the way is the most important THINK WHAT'S NEXT
PRECISION IN PASS: What sort of pass do we need? Underhit, overhit? Backfoot, front foot? On the deck, in the air? To feet.
into space?
1ST TOUCH SETS US: Away from opposition, into space but most importantly, to what comes next, allows us to play quicker.
MOVEMENTS TO RECIEVE: Counter movements, sharp, fast and late. Can the defender see the ball and you at the same time? Give them a problem. MOVE AS THE BALL MOVES. Play blindside, in between
SPEED OF PLAY: We play quickly to allow opposition less time to press, 2-3 touch max! Back foot, front foot to play. Quick
solutions to problems.
