Passing exercise 4.7.19 (10 mins)

Set up:

Half pitch between the 16m box and half way(adjust if required)

12- 14 players, 10 balls, cones or poles

Passing pattern:

A-B-C with a bounce then D and back to A

Maximum 2 touches.

Clock wise for 4-5 minutes then anti clockwise for 4-5 minutes.

Stretches and warm up exercises between progressions.

Player Actions:

Angle of runs (1st 5 meters must be urgent/building to match pace)

Movement off the ball

Weight and speed of pass

Progression 1 (5 mins)

Passing pattern:

A1 opposite to D(turn or bounce with running A!) and pass to C and bounce then B and A2 ( who plays opposite D)

Maximum 2 touches.

Time: 5 minutes

Angle of runs (1st 5 meters must be urgent/building to match pace)

Weight and speed of pass

Comunication for the middle player (turn or bounce)
