Organisation (brief description of session):

Object of the game was to find the end man, players could break in to the shaded areas up apposed. Players had to stay in their own half, but midfield players could go anywhere. Progressed it by adding 2 goals and playing a S.S.G.

Learning Objectives:

Technical:

Touch, passing technique, Shooting technique.

Tactical:

Movement to recieve body position - side on attacking runs, recovery runs.

Physical:

speed endurance, agility, co-ordination, balance.

Psych/ Social:

Communication confidence.

Coaches Comments:

Once players understood the rules & what was required the session was good and was played at a good tempo. Once goals were introduced players went back into old habits and movement from the 1st session disappeared.
