Instructions:
Two sets of 1v1s at the same time(Line A vs A / B vs B)
Attacking players start with the ball
- Players can score on any goal (turned)
Defenders can play on attackers first touch (this is their visual cue)
Coaching Points/Questions:
- "What technique can you use to turn?"
- "When should you turn?
- "Where is the open space?"
Regressions/Progressions:
R: Make field smaller or have goals closer
P: Defenders pass to attackers.

Attackers pass to teammate (pressure from behind)

Coaching Points/Questions:
Reinforce previous
- Check over shoulder - How can I unbalance opponnet off? Decision whether to keep going forward or turn based on pressure and space
Progression/Regression:
P: 2v2s - once a pair is done with their round, they look to support the other pair still playing, turning the game from 1v1 into 2v2s
R: Make field bigged to make the attacker receive the ball with less pressure ( defender set up further away)

Progressions:
2v2s
Attackers can pass to teammate (pressure from behind) and join for a 2v2.
- 2 Defenders press on pass.

Two goals to defend.
Add second field if needed
Use Gates, if not enough equipment.
Instructions:
- 3v3 or 4v4s
- All restarts are kick-ins
- Can score on either attacking goal.

- "What can you use to protect ball?"
- "How can you deceive defender"?"

- If one field, then play winner stays on (3 min games or two goals)
- Principles of play:

Intro (10 mins)
Organization:
Every player with ball.
Knock out game (two grids).
Instructions:
- Every player for themselves, they look to knock ball out of the grid with out losing their ball.
- Once a player ball is out, then they move to the grid to the side to start another game as players go out.
- No players should be "out", they are constantly playing in either grid.
Coaching Points/Questions:
- "Where is the open space?"
- "What can I use to protect the ball?
- "What part of the foot can I use?"
Regressions/Progressions:
R: Make field bigger
P: Competition - everyone starts with 10 points, each time their ball is knocked out, they lose a point.
