2v1/3v2

ball starts by blue team paying a ball out to white attacker, he has one touch to control other to strike unopposed. After this, blues attack white in a 2v1. Once this goes dead, 2 more whites enter the play to play 3v2 - when playing 3v2, keeper can be direct and look to play into end men with the white team reacting off it.

Objectives:

Combinations - overlaps, wall pass

Communication

Pull the trigger - aggressive

be direct when possible - take defenders out of the game.

phase of play

phase of play - team size/shape depends on numbers, always leave 2 of opposition on end end line for direct balls to be played in transition.

Objectives:

keep width and depth - CB's can we drop off a step, full back also deepens to try entice opposition to come out - ball can be played into winger dropping into space created by full back deepening to set a CM to get us forward.

CM - one goes to ball side other stays central - if he's followed out by opposition cm can we punch it straight into the 10? if not, get wide and pin in their full back (3v2 overload)

Control - keep the ball moving side to side be patient finding the gaps.

Direct balls in transition - opposition play to end men quickly - CBs don't turn back on the ball, half turn see the man and the ball
