- 1/6 must have good ball speed and passing technique to limited the pressing players opportunities to apply pressure directly onto the ball. No 6 ball speed needs to beat the press of the pressing no11
- 2 should receive with an open body shape to allow him to play a forward pass into the No 7.
- 11 should scan before the ball comes and receive when an open body shape and dribble at speed against the No 3. When in a position to cross, the 11 should use the correct technique

Picture 2: For the right back to maintain possession when under pressureTechnical Detail
- 1/6 must have good ball speed and passing technique to limited the pressing players opportunities to apply pressure directly onto the ball. No 6 ball speed needs to beat the press of the pressing no11/
- 2 needs to scan there right shoulder an recognise pressure from the 11. He needs to maintain possession when under pressure with a bounce pass back into the No 6. This needs to be done with good technique with the inside of the foot, aiming to pass onto the CB right foot.
- 6 then must play through the press, ideally with 1 touch to avoid the press from the side from the No 9, through into the No 8.
2 - Needs to make movement away from the 11 to receive the pass from the No 8.
8 - Needs to recognise that No 2 is under pressure and being the movement towards to ball. Scanning as he moves to know which side the defender is on. 6 must pass the ball on the right side to avoid the yellow 8 intercepting the ball. B8 must then pass the ball round the corner using the inside of his right foot to beat the press of the yellows.
- 4 to be around the ball to be available for support if necessary.
- 7/9/10 to stay away from the ball to allow space for 8 to move into
2 - Play a forward pass into 7

Picture 3: For the right back to creat space for the CB to step into CMTechnical Detail
(1)must have a good ball speed into the 6 with good technique.
(2) Vacate space by running forwards to take the 11 into a lower area of the pitch . If the 11 presses CB picture 2 would be an option. No 6 should dribble out into vacated space and cut across the ST to narrow down the pressing angle.
(8) As the 6 steps in8 needs to play on the outside shoulder to open up the passing lane into the No 9
(6) Needs to pass with good ball speed to break the midfield line and hit the No 9 feet.
(9) Need to time a late movement of the CB to create space between. If the centre back dose not follow him in, the 9 can turn using his back foot and shoot/pass forward. If the CB dose follow in he can either set the ball back into 8/10. In this situation, he needs to use his body to protect the ball and receive the ball on this front foot with the sole or outside of the foot.
(10/8) Should provide support as the ball goes into 9
