Description :
> 6v6.
> 4 central players, 2 zone players.
> 40x40 area. 5x5 zone area.
> objective is for the players to have both zone players involved in their possession to gain a point.
> central players must go from one zone player, keep possession in the middle before switching the ball over to the opposite zone player.
> this will allow the players to put into practice what we worked on in Activity 1. How can we open up our body & switch field to stretch the game.
> encourage players to be patient on the ball when on the ball & not to force it into zone player.
> work for 3 minutes the change zone players.
Progression :
> diamond shape will be added to middle of the field using big cones.
> players now other options when on the ball. If we cannot go to our zone players, we can pass the ball through the diamond to a player on the other side to receive the ball. This is another way for players to gain point by also being patient on ball.
Coaching Points :
> movement off ball.
> communication to ask for ball.
> decision making.
> open up body when receiving.
> pateint on the ball.

Activity 1
Description :
> 2 teams of 6.
> 10 yards between passing players & receiving player.
> objective of this activity is to get the players into the habit of opening up their body, receiving the ball on their back foot & passing with their front foot. This becomes vital when into a game situation as it allows us to see everything - ball & both players on either side.
> player B who starts off in the middle of the cones before then making a move to either right or left to create that angle for the pass & open up their body. Player A passes ball to player B who will then pass ball onto player C & follow their pass. player A will now be in the middle.
Coaching Points :
> movement from middle to create angle.
> open up body to see full field when receiving the ball.
> control with back foot into path, front foot to play pass.
> communicate when we want the ball.
> follow pass as if we are supporting in a game.
