Explanation: 10 metres over half, slightly less than full width, 2 big goals with
GKs if possible, 2 teams of 8
One team play through the other team who are like passive
defenders, they must switch play through quick passing, moving
and communication then clip the ball into the opposite GK hands or coaches feet,
who then play out to the other team who do the same.
Get back into position and start again from other side if possible
*You can have 2 balls to start with, one with each team*
Progression: Limit Touches - 1 ball - real passive defenders who can intercept
Key Messages / Tasks:
Keep good distances between each other
6 to support low to switch
FBs stay wide but connected on opposite side
7,10,11 to get into pockets to switch
Opposite 10 to be on other side of half way
9 to show to feet if possible but be in box to score, along with 10 and opposite winger
Face forward and see possible switch as much as possible

Explanation: Two 4v2 boxes 25x20, with switch player (6) and (9 vs CB) GK and Big Goal
Coach feeds to one box, team make 4 passes then switch through 6 who plays opposite box, Att team can now drive through red gate to link with 9 to score...no defender can track back
If defender wins the ball they hit coach for a point
Swap defenders after 3mins
Progression: Can pass through gate for a forward run
Defender can track and one att player from opposite box can join in to make 3v2
Can build to 4v3 and 5v4
Can use 9 to switch and score straight away
