Warm-up (15 mins)

Set-up:

12x15 yard grids with coned gates in each corner. 1Team on each end line between the gates.

Description:

Attacker receives the ball from defender (1) or from team mate (2), has to beat the defender in a 1v1 and get through one of the gates on the opposite end line.

Progressions: *All passive defending.

Small-Sided (15 mins)

Set-up:

Expanded Small-Sided (20 mins)

Set-up:

60x50 yard field with wide channels. 1 Attacker and 1 Defender in each half of each channel. 2 Teams of 5 in the central areas with 1 team of 5 out.

Description:

Players in wide zones must stay in wide zones, central players must stay in central zone. Each team must get the ball to one of their wide attackers each time they win possession before they can score. 5 minute games.

Final Game (20 mins)

Set-up:

60x50 yard field with wide channels. 2 Teams of 8 on with 1 team of 8 out. Both teams play a 1-2-2-3 formation. If 7v7 teams play 1-2-2-2 formation without a cetral striker.

Description:

8v8 live game to big goals with keepers.
