Warm-Up (15 mins)

Band Progressions: Side steps x 10 each way / Back pedal / forward kicks x 10 / backward kicks x 10 (repeat with other leg) / Monster walk / Fire hydrant x 10 / Squat jumps x 10.

Dynamic Warm-up: Players perform sport specific movements to prepare the body for activity (increase blood flow and muscle temperature). 

Passing Tunnels: Players pass / receive ball in groups of 4/5. - Follow pass.

1) Receiving and pass with inside of same foot (Two touch).

2) Receive and pass with opposite foot. (Two touch).

3) Receive with inside, touch with outside & pass (all with same foot -3 touches)

4) Receive - roll across + pass.

5) Receive & turn & cut it back Different Service 

6) Two Touch - Inside bend 

7) Two Touch - Outside bend 

8) Two-three Touch - Chipped ball 

9) directional touch or 1v1 move with pressure

1v1 / Ball Mastery: Players dribble towards each other, perform move (to right), dribble / take-over with next player in line. (4/5 times - then perform action to left).

1) Double touch - Opposite feet (inside / inside).

2) Double touch - Same foot (inside / outside).

3) Roll over (using sole of foot).

4) Scissors.

Rondo - 3v1 (10 mins)

FIELD DIMENSIONS: 10x10 yards   

# OF PLAYERS: 4 (3V1)

TIME: 10 Minutes.  Ratio: 90 Seconds / 30 Seconds (x5)  

ORGANIZATION & CONDITIONS:

If defending player wins ball (or attacking player kick ball out), players switch roles.

Attacking players must take 2 touches (2 touch max).  

Coaching Points:

ABC's (ANGLE of support / BODY shape when receiving / CHECK shoulder)

Switching point (15 mins)

FIELD DIMENSIONS: 36x25 yards (12x12x12).

# OF PLAYERS: 13 (6v6+Neutral)

TIME: 15 Minutes.  Ratio: 4 minutes / 1 minute Rest  

ORGANIZATION & CONDITIONS:

2 teams with one neutral. Formation: 4-2.  

5 passes in one third = 1 point / scoring in mini goals = 1 point.

Ball Mastery (15 mins)

Aerial Ball Progression + Ball Mastery Progression:

1) Inside of the foot control (on half volley) + Scissor / exit + Fake shot (place sole of foot on ball)

2) Outside foot control (on half volley) + cut under exit (can do single/double) + Fake shot (place sole of foot on ball)

3) Over head & laces control + Stop & Go + double scissor / cut under + Fake shot (place sole of foot on ball)

4) Cradle + the Hop, chop, Double scissor / Cut under & Fake shot (place sole of foot on ball)

5) Cruyff + outside/inside (or snake), + Fake shot (place sole of foot on ball)

Finishing (15 mins)

FIELD DIMENSIONS: Final third

# OF PLAYERS: 12-16 players (2 groups: 6-8)

TIME: 15 Minutes.  Ratio: 6 minutes / 2 minute Rest  

ORGANIZATION & CONDITIONS:

A Progression:

1 passes to 2. 2 checks away and checks at an angle and has two options:

i. Dribble inside which means 3 gets out of area and now you can play the ball down the line or take yourself and finish.

ii. Receive hips open which triggers #3 to check in and combine around cone to get in and cross and finish.

B Progression:

1 plays 3 who checked away and checked to. 3 plays it back to 1. 1 has two options:

i. to receive hips open and plays 2 who checked to (check away first) then combines with 3 to get in behind on wing or inside for a cross / shot.

ii. 1 dribbles towards goal and 2 peels off and makes run down the line.

Rotation: 1 > 2 > 3. 3 back of line to opposite side.
