Box Game - transition -
On getting ball attack immediately 1 point or pass to other team mate to attack 2 points (awarded if scores)
Organisation of game (10 Min)
2 boxes 5 yeards apart (size depends upon numbers)
2 even teams - Players numbered 1 upwards
Number of balls on the outside with coach
Coach shouts a number eg 3 - players numbered 3 from runs in to opposition box with the intention of getting the ball of the team in possession by either tackling it out of the box or more desireably by getting the ball in to their own box.
Idea of game is to keep the ball as long as possible.
If the team in possession gets to 10 passes, they can attack the goal
If the team out of possession gets the ball they can attack the goal.
Session can be used for a variety of outcomes
Possession
Passing
Movement off the ball
Transition
Attacking quickly
Etc

Organization:
- 8 - 10 Players
Full quarter of field (approx. 40x30)
In the centre of the pitch set up 2 goals, back-to- back, facing opposite ends of the pitch. Surrounding the goals mark out a circle 3 yards/metres from the goals. This is a safe zone – only the GK is allowed in here. GK will operate in both goals throughout the practice. 1 ball in play.
In the rest of the area create a 5v2/5v3/6v2/6v3 (depending on number of players).
Suggested aims for the practice are:
-The team of 6/7 has to complete 3 passes between each other before they can score in either goal.
-The team of 3/4 has to complete 1 pass before they can score, again, in either goal.
-The first team to score 3 goals wins the game or set amount of time. Switch roles frequently
