Mixed attack/defend (20 mins)
Equipment: 10-15 players, 6-8 pinnies and a supply of balls. and a keeper
Set Up: Break players into 5 equal groups of 2 -4 players
Activity:
Play starts with A who take a touch and has a shot. After the shot, B plays a pass to A who lays off for B to have a shot. After the shot, C plays a ball into A for a 2v1 with B defending. Then C plays a ball into B for a 2v2 situation and lastly, E plays a ball in to C or A for a 3v2 situation. Then the process starts over. After the 3v2 situation is complete, players go to the back of their next line. I.e. a goes to c, c to e and e to a.
B goes to d and D goes to B so they are receiving different scenarios each time.
Coaching points:
Striking: Part of foot, Head over ball, follow through to target, angle of approach on strike
2v1,2v2,3v2: Communication, quick transition, close down quickly, body shape and position

Setup: Place 2 cones at desired distance from net as shown with a supply of balls at each cone
Activity:
Player A begins by playing a pass to player B who takes a positive first touch towards goal and strikes left foot on second touch. They collect their ball and go to back of line A. Next player in line B plays a pass to line A who takes a positive first touch towards goal and strikes with their right foot. They collect ball and go to back of line B and play continues.

SSG 7v7 or 6v6
Place cones or markers in each attacking 3rd at desired distance from goal for your team. i.e. 20 yds, 25 yds. etc... Play as normal except all shots must come from before the marker line (players can finish rebounds inside but no direct shots)
Technical Warmup (10 mins)
Setup: Grid 30x30 (can be adjusted for age and skill of players)
Break group up into pairs. Place 4 pairson opposite ends facing their partner with one ball for each partner
Activity: A1 starts by passing the ball to their partner on the other side, in the air if possible. Partner A2 receives the ball and holds it.
B1 then passes their ball to their partner B2 who receives it and holds it. A2 plays ball back to A1 and then B2 plays ball back to A1 and warmup continuesthat rotation.
