Method:
Defending 4v4+GK with T2A then T2D
3 teams of 4 or 5 or 3 (adjust pitch dimensions). Neutral Zone team starts with ball and goes on Attack. If they score they go and attack opposite side. If the defending team win the ball they go an attack opposite side and the previous attacking team become defenders.
You can use two goals and 2 GK or 1 full goal and 1 GK v 2x mini goals
Coaching Points:
Intensity to win the ball back (tempo)
Speed in transition (hunt them down)
Play into space (away from crowded area)
8-10 secs to score or ball dead - coach serves in new ball
Take chances when attacking
When defending (T2D) delay, deny, deflect, destroy
Quick thinking, quick decision, quick transition, positive movement

Method:
9v9 cut off defending teams corners as no wingers (blue) and no full backs (yellow)
1-4-3-1 Blue v 1-2-3-3
Playing out from the GK (blue) through the thirds, thru the middle
Opp team (yellow) win ball back and score
Coaching Points:
Attacking team: Create Space - width and depth; Movement off the ball, Double movement to receive, Open body to receive, Positive body language, Communication / Message on the ball
Quality of the pass: Accuracy, weight, can we play forward? Can we be patient and build? Rem be calm not slow, touch and play, pass and move, be brave!
T2D get compact, shift together, defend 3/5 of the pitch, swift transition
Opp team: work hard, compact in defending and quick T2A, punish mistakes

Passing and Recieving
Method:
5/6 players in a diamond shape grid (3 grids), 4 flat markers per grid. A to B 10-12m and C to D 7-8m, one ball in play, have spare balls ready to go. 2 rounds both direction of 3 mins each with 1 min orientation, 1 min break in middle (15mins) . Players pass and follow, then pass, set, pass.
Coaching Points:
Simple passing, touch forward, play positively
Good pass, weight and accuracy, Open body to receive to play forward
Double movement to receive (Check off), 2 touch
Progression Set Pass - change direction to work on both feet and body shape
