Organization:
1. The lonely chain (initial tagger) has no friends and has to try and tag other chains to m ake one big chain
2. The other chains have to run away from the lonely chain so they don’t becom e part of the big one
3. Once tagged, the single chain has to join the big chain
Coaching Points:
1. Use changes of speed and direction to get away from the chain
2. Don’t get trapped in a corner
Progressions:
1. P – The chain has to split into different chains every three links

Dribbling - MINI KICKS - Bank Robbers
Organisation:
30x40 area with cones on the border as shown.
Instructions:
Players are all dribbling throughout the space.
At coach command players must dribble to the side of the field indicated by that number of cones.
First one to the side, gets a point.
Progression: Allow dribbling with single foot.
Regression: Allow dribbling with either foot.
Competitive: How few touches does it take to get to the side?
Can you stop your ball exactly on the line, under control and balanced?
Coaching points:
Outside (pinky-toe) for close control.
Laces for fast, longer distance dribbling.

Organization:
1. Coach starts off the activity by getting the player to w ave at their shadow on the floor, and then by challenging the
players to loose their shadow by running around in different directions and at different speeds
2. Coach then puts the players in pairs, w ith one being the shadow and the other being the player attem pting to lose
their shadow
3. The shadow has 30 seconds to stay in touching distance of the runner before the coach yells “FREEZE”
4. The shadow then turns to face their partner w ho m ust attem pt to pass their ball through the their partners legs
5. Players then rotate roles
Coaching Points:
1. U se different m ovem ents and speeds to get aw ay from the shadow
2. Try to keep your eye on the runner so you know w here they are going
Progressions:
1. P – The shadow now has no ball
2. R – Each player starts w ithout a ball

2.12 players (9 attackers, 3 defenders) set up as shown

Story/Description:
1.Marble Kings (defenders) start with their marble (ball) in their hands
2.Marble Kings then have to run around and hit another players marble with theirs
3.The two players then change roles
4.The game lasts for 30 seconds
Coaching Points:
1.Protect your marble by getting your body between it and the Marble King
2.Keep looking around for the Marble Kings so you can run the other way

Organisation:
30x40 area with 4 5x5 squares in each corner.
Instructions:
Once all the balls have been retrieved from the middle and brought back to the corners, on coach command, teams have 1 minute to go "rob" the other corners to try to get more balls into their corner. Players can opt to go steal balls, or they can choose to defend their bank.
Progression: Prohibit players from staying inside their own corner.
Regression: Allow players to stay inside their own corner.
Competitive: How many can your team steal (defend)?
Coaching points:
Outside (pinky-toe) for close control.
Laces for fast, longer distance dribbling.
Heads up to locate players coming to steal.
Head up to locate players trying to defend while stealing.
