Building out triggers (#6 drops to create numbers up and no pressure on ball) Pattern
- #10 plays into #4 - as the pass is played, the "def." presses #4
- # 3 "shallows off" and receives from #4
- #6 drops in alongside #4
- #3 plays to #4 - #4 plays into #6
- #6 recieves and takes positive touch and passes to #2 who stops the ball in the box
Variation of pattern : Change pattern to play central pass to #10
Competition :
- 1st team to 6 points wins
- Alternate sides
Coaching points:
- Pressure on ball = FB "shallows off"
- #6 drops alongside #4 if pressure on ball
- Positive touch from CB into space
- FB pushes on if no pressure on ball
- FB receives to break line

Phase play: Building in a 3-4-1
- The team of 7 try to score by passing into the 3 wide goals

Vary the start points:

- Ball into #6 and set to CB
- Free play
Coaching points:
- Movement based on pressure vs no pressure on the ball
