Objective of session to to allow for players to work on controlling the ball when received it in various scenarios by incorporating the technical and physical attributes. The drills are designed to be fun, competitive and demanding from a speed of play perspective.

Organization:
- make a 25 x 25 yard grid, smaller if less players
- divide the group into 2 equal teams - no GK
- each team must try to pass to their teamates located in the corners by keeping possesion in the middle of the grid.
- once target player receives ball he must enter the grid and the player who passed must take on the corner target player.
Progressions:
- target player must one touch out of the corner
Coaching Points:
- first touch is everything!
- meet the ball (step to the ball as it arrives)
- speed of play = fast (where possible)
- decision making
- game management when in possession (don't simply pass into pressure)
- play aware from pressure

Organization:
- Make a 30 x 25 yard grid, smaller if less players
- divide the group into 2 equal teams of 5 + GK required
- make the teams rotate GKs every 4 mins.
Progressions:
- One touch finish are worth 2 goals
- finishing with non-dominant foot worth 2 goals
Coaching Points:
- speed of play = fast (where possible)
- decision making
- attacking mentality
- team defending (everyone is behind the ball when it's lost)
- game management when in possession (don't simply kick it away)
- urgency to score when behind

Organization:
- 20 x 15 grid
- Coach plays ball into Player A or B once he checks in and shows for the ball. Player will take a positive first touch then attack cone - make move and strike on net.
- Player B side will strike with right foot while Player A will strike with left foot
Coaching Points:
- First touch is everything
- Demand for the ball, Go to the ball
- Attacked the cone with speed
- Encourage Creative move at the cone
1v1 Back to Goal (Creative Receiving & Outplaying) (15 mins)
Organization:
- 20 x 15 grid
- Coach plays ball into Player A once he checks in and shows for the ball. Player B will apply immediate pressure to defend
- Player A is looking to be creative when receiving the ball (under pressure) and outplaying
- If Defender wins ball he plays ball back to coach for point.
Coaching Points:
- Check where defender while receiving the ball, if close then protect ball first then look to escape
- First touch (what part of foot, inside or outside, long first touch or negative first touch to give space)
- Encourage Creative Play
