Players have a ball each to maximise contact with the ball and dribble around the square.
Each side of the square is marked out as a different colour, on coaches command players then have to dribble to the side of the grid that is shouted out.
Coach then uses different coloured cones to get the players to dribble differently.
Green cone means go, orange cone means dribble quicker, red cone means stop with the ball under foot
Then use a differently coloured cone for the players to do a turn and change direction.
Highlight throughout players that are doing it well and get them to show the rest of the group.

Players dribble around the square and try to dribble through the cones that are scattered around the grid.
Players are challenged to dribble through as many as possible in a timed period.
To then challenge them a bit more, aske the players to then dribble through the gates but cant go to the same colour one after each other.

Safe zone tag
area set up as shown with 4 squares marked in each corner, which will act as safe zones.
Players are chosen to be the 'taggers' and they try to tag as many players as possible.
If the players are tagged they must perform a series of tasks chosen by the coach until they are released by one of their team mates by tagging them. These tasks will be things like hopping, star jumps etc which focus around the abc's of movement. Can also have footballs around the outsides and players once tagged have to go and perform things like kick-ups or heading before they can re-enter.
Players cannot be tagged in any of the 4 zones but players can only stay in these zones for a maximum of 5 seconds.
