Crabs On The Beach (15 mins)

THE SESSION: Crabs on the Beach

Set Up: 12x24

Every player has a ball and starts on the line

Two players are 'crabs' (taggers) and sit on the floor

Each players has to dribble from one end to the other

The crabs have to try and trap the ball in their feet from dribblers

If a dribbler gets they place the ball out the area and become a crab

Last player standing is the winner

1V1 Transition (15 mins)

THE SESSION: 1v1 Transition

Set Up: 12x24

Players spilt in half both both teams stand on the side of the goal

Players attack the goal opposite, once they have attacked they must defend the players coming from the side of the goal

Shot then recover

Keep score

Key Messages:

Attack at pace

Positive first touch

Don't allow defender to recover

Once had shot recover quickly

Progressions:

2 v 1

Two players attack against the one defender, whoever shots or loses ball becomes defender for next wave

Jail Break (15 mins)

THE SESSION: Jail Break

Set Up:

Two equal teams behind the cones

The coach passes the first ball into player one who shoots first time

As soon as he has his first shot the second shot comes in

Rules:

Must be first time shot only

If the player scores both goals he can challenge somebody from the other team (challenged player must score both goals or they go to jail)

If he scores one goal he regain the back of the line

If he scores no goals he goes in jail
