Objective -
To increase focus on reactions/hand eye coordination and build upon previous handling and footwork sessions.
Description -
Round 1 - GK1 will receive two thrown tennis balls from Coach, they must catch and return before using quick feet to align for a volley from GK2. 2x reps each side 4 in total before GK rotates.
Round 2 - Additional 3rd action realigning for volley from GK3.
Round 3 - Coach will move further back and hit numerous tennis balls at a faster pace with a tennis racquet. On the Coach's call, GK1 will re-align for a volley from GK2.
Round 4 - Continuous fast paced version of Round 3.

Objective -
Game like scenario, lateral movement across the goal, tracking of the ball, recovery position to deal with near post header and strike on goal.
Description -
GK1 will receive a looping cross to the back post from GK2. They will then roll the ball out to GK4 before setting at the back post where GK3 will throw a ball to COACH who will use rebounder to simulate a header on target. Once save is made, GK1 will reset for a strike on goal from GK4. Rotate after 3, 2 rounds each. Swap side repeat.
Modification w/ 2 or 3 GK's - GK1 will receive a looping cross to the back post from GK2. They will give the ball to GK3 who will throw a ball to COACH who will use rebounder to simulate a header on target. Once save is made, COACH will roll a loose ball around 6yard box for GK1 to react to. Rotate after 4, 2 rounds each. Swap side & repeat.

Progression -
1 - After GK4 strikes on goal, COACH drops a ball into the 6yard box for GK1 to react and collect/smother.
2 - GK2 lobs ball to back post, GK1 collects rolls ball to GK4, GK3 strikes ball near post for GK1 to block save. GK1 recovers for strike on
goal from GK4. COACH puts pressure on GK1.
3 - Coach will move further back to simulate a deeper cross which will now open up all of the goal.
Phase One - Headed Shots on Goal (20 mins)

Objective -
Match like scenarios, delivery from varied deep areas, safe handling and accurate distribution.
Description -
GK1 will receive a delivery from wide from GK2, they will collect the ball, distribute back out wide to GK2 and realign for a volley from Coach.
Progression - GK1 will roll ball centrally to Coach, who will then take a touch and strike on goal.

- Gradually change the angle of the delivery from both sides of the goal during the drill.
