Organization:
- See diagram for equipment and set-up
- 10 to 12 Players
- Pinnies for one team
- Area: 25x30 (adapt for age/ability/numbers)
- 1 defender and 1 attacker in each end (last 5 yards)
- 4 midfielders on each team in middle 20 yards
Instructions:
- SSG with zones
- Goal can be scored from anywhere. Midfielders can attempt on goal from outside end zone.
- Goal can be scored by strikers within end zone.
Progression:
- Midfielders can dribble into end zone to create an overload but striker and midfielder can then only score on one touch. Goal doesn't count if they shoot with 2 touch. Midfielder goes back to middle zone after play is dead or if defender clears the ball out of end zone.
Coaching Points:
- Opening up to receive the ball and touch in the direction of goal
- Finishing with inside of foot for placement
- Decision making to shoot or pass to striker or another midfielder who has an open shot on goal
- Dribbling skills and taking on opposition 1v1 to gain advantage

Organization:
- see diagram for set-up and equipment
- 1 pug net
- 6 players maximum on each playing area with one defender that will switch when each player had one turn. First striker then becomes defender.
- area approx. 25x30 (adapt for age/ability)
- defensive zone should be 5x10
Instructions:
- Player 1 passes ball to player 2, who turns with the ball and dribbles into defensive zone toward defender, beats defender, and then shoots on goal before reaching 10 yard marker cones
- Player 1 continues run after pass and takes place as new striker.
- Defender cannot exit the defensive box.
- Attacker retrieves ball and runs to back of line and becomes the defender when at front of line again.
- Play the progression when players have good turns and good dribbles and movement with ball.
Progression:
- Defender becomes active and plays hard to win ball in defensive box.
Coaching Points:
- Solid accurate pass from passing player with good weight on ball
- Striker must check forward to receive ball and check over shoulder before receiving ball
- Good turn with ball - inside turn or outside turn
- Good pace with dribble and don't stop in front of defender - get defender off balance
- Use body to shield ball and dribble with far foot
- Solid and quick finish while on the run with ball

Organization:
- 2 Qtr Fields with 7v7
- Pinnies for one team
- 9 per team with 2 subs
Instruction:
- Let the players learn through experience and make their own decisions.
- Coach players off the ball, not those on the ball.
- Reinforce shooting on goal from distance.
- Midfield players need to be wider than centre to get pass and shoot on goal.
- Let players decide who they want to sub on for and should do so every 2 minutes. Can't sub the same player that just went on.
