4vs3 - 4vs4 (25 mins)

Organization:

• 4v3 - 4v4. 4 sets x 5 mins. 2min rest

Instructions:

• Ball Starts in first grid 4vs3. Yellow can progress into next zone without any restrictions. To begin, the 8/6 on red can only intercept in the middle grid. They cannot recover. The moment yellows progress 5-6 seconds to score. If reds regain the ball they finish on the 2 small goals.

Coaching Points:

• 3/5/4 - Attract & Find the Free Man. Recognize press to find ball through the lines into the 8/10/7. 4/3 when press comes from inside use half space to progress
• 6 - Combine w/ 4/5/3 to attract then move behind to be 3rd man. When 7/11 attract or jump to intercept (around the corner pass to half space)
• 8 - move off the 6 opposite line. When receiving able to turn look to combine with 9. When half space receive, show underneath (if 6 is not there) or move fwd to be the 3rd man for the 9. Recognize moments to finish from distance.
• 7/10 - Occupy space b/w/ lines. Force 6/8 to commit. When receiving with pressure from inside look to combine low or high (with 9). When opposite half space receives, anticipate to run fwd to attack space or create space for 8. Always move to be the 3rd man. 
• 9 - Occupy the centerbacks, create space to check in or run behind. Always imagine to be the 3rd man. When the 8/10/7 receive with pressure - check to combine. When they turn with time/space - attack space b/w & behind centerbacks
