Organization:
-see diagram for set-up and equipment
-area approx. 25x20m (adapt for age/ability/numbers)
-organize players into two teams and number them
-have them start by sitting down on the edge of the playing area
-on coaches call, the corresponding players get up, run around the cone, and play in 1v1 to their 2 goals
Coaching Points:
-close dribbling in tight areas
-accelerate/rwb into open spaces
-get head up to scan for space, goal, players
-use of both feet and all surfaces of feet
-changes of direction/speed to get away from opponent
-accurate/quick finishing

-4v4/5v5 small-sided game. Teams play to 2 goals to they can focus on their changes of directions to get to the goal.

Dribbling Technical (15 mins)
Organization:
-see diagram for set-up and equipment
-area of approx. 25x20m (inc. 5m zones) split into 3 zones
-opposing team try to run into other teams zone and steal their balls and dribble back to their zone.
-players can only take one ball at a time and must dribble it all the way back before attempting to get another one.
-after determined amount of time, the team with most balls back in their zone, wins.
Possible variations/progressions:
-start by carrying balls instead of dribbling
-add 1/2 defenders for both teams
-add all players can tackle
