Description
i) 2 touch pass to teammate to the right follow pass and join back of the line
ii) players dribble. At midpoint, they perform single scissor and pass to teammate
iii) dribble at midpoint, double scissors and pass
iv) dribble, at midpoint pass, teammate returns ball with a one touch pass, then dribbler plays a diagonal pass inside the cone
Progression:
Same as above but to the left
Coaching Points:
Angled stance on toes (see ball, see target);
Receive ball with back foot;
Close control and eye contact prior to pass

Description
i) Player A passes to B and overlaps to provide a passing option, player C closes the gap and defends net. Attacker must pass ball through gate. Rotate lines every 5 mins.
Progression:
Incorporate‘dummy runs’ at player’s discretion where player A passes, B makes a dummy run and A takes re-takes possession
Coaching Points:
On toes waiting for pass (see ball,see target);
Receive ball with 1st touch into space;
Attack with speed;
Close control w/head up scanning for options

Description

ii) 1st touch across body, 2nd touch pass and follow pass with various dynamic stretch runs (i.e. high knees, butt kicks, run-skip, quick sprint)
Progression:
Increase cone distance between players
Receive with dominant and pass with alternate foot or vice-versa

On toes waiting for pass;
First touch out of feet;
Eye contact & vocal communicationwith teammate;
Pass with proper weight and accuracy
