The overall theme for this sesion is for players to try and combine to score on several goals. The multiple goals promotoes creativity, innovation, and quick thinking.
Psychologically, the players will be challneged to stay connected to their teammates and remain focused in the session as it is high pace and always evolving.
Physcially it can be demanding because it is non-directional for a portion of the session which will put strain on their quick twitch muscles as the game and ball will move at a high paced

4v4 + 4 in 40x40. If you have more than 4 in a group the extra players who are not targets can be neutrals
Red - Team A
Green - Team B
Blue - Targets/Neutrals
Team tactical small sided activity:
-In this portion of the training one player penetrates into a target while the 3 supporting players move to receive the ball from the target.
-2 teams on the pitch, 2 balls
-The movements and decisions off the ball are very important as there are 3 players who need to be working together moving into the most effective spaces on the field
-The player on the ball or receiving the ball also needs to take touches to maximize the speed to connect with the next target
-Focus on the 3 players off the ball decision making as they navigate the other team playing simultaneously
***Rotate teams as targets
PROGRESSIONS:
-Ways to penetrate into target
-Touch restriction on penetration
-Touch restrictionon target
-Number of passes until penetration
-Connect with all 4 targets before returning to the same target

-It is Red vs Green at this point and it is non-directional
-Blue (targets) play the ball (coaches rules) back to Team that passed it to them (it could be to same player, or supporting player)

-The movements and decisions off the ball are very important as there are 3 players who need to be working together moving into the most effective spaces on the field
-The player on the ball or receiving the ball also needs to take touches to maximize the speed to connect with the next target
-The defending team needs to consider where & when to pressure to keep ball from connecting with target
-Focus on the 3 players off the ball decision making (BOTH offenese & defensively) as they navigate the other team playing simultaneously

-Number of consecutive passes to targets
-Connecting with all 4 targets
