Put your players in pair and set up a ball on a cone for each pair.
The players starts off about 4 or 5 yards away from the ball on the cone (battleship). Have them take turns trying to pass the ball into the battle ship and knock the ball off the cone, if they hit the battleship they have to quickly reset the ball on the cone.
Make it into a competition, which pair can hit the battleship the most in two minutes.
If it is too easy make them take a step back every time they hit the battleship
Make sure your players are using correct technique, plant foot next to bal and striking the middle of the ball with the inside of the foot. Can the players do this with both feet?

Set up a gate with different coloured cones (red and yellow) and that can later identify left and right.
The gap between them should be about two or three yards The player at the front of the blue line passes the ball to the player at the front of the orange line.
To begin with the have the players go to one side (yellow) for a couple of minutes, then have them take the ball to the other side (red). Once the players have the idea of the game to make it more competitive the coach calls out a colour as the ball is moving thru the gate and the player has to react the coaches call.
If you find your players really enjoying this game you could try doing opposites.

Split your players into two teams if you have pinnies use them as it helps with clarity. Have the teams stand either side of the coach with all the soccer balls with the coach in the middle.
The coach should play a ball out to one of the two teams. The first player in each line runs out and tries to gain possession and score in either goal. If a goal is scored or the ball goes out of bounds the coach shouts “Get Out of Here" and plays in a new ball straight away for the next players.
Can the players move as soon as the coach plays the ball in?
If one goal is blocked by the defender can we change direction and try to score in the other goal.
Can the defender make a "banana run" (red line) to get inbetween the attacker and the goal rather than running straight at the attacker.
