Organization:
Set up playing area approx 10x20. With cones marking end zones and goal line at either side. Play 3v3, or adj field size for 2v2 depending on numbers. 1 ball
Activity:
2 teams will play a game 3v3 (or 2v2). Teams score a point by crossing goal line into the end zone of their opponents with the ball.
Coaching points:
Can player demonstrate dribbling skills in tight spaces, and when taking on opponents. Can player accelerate and run with the ball if they've beat an opponent? Is player able to recongize when they have space to run with ball, when they need to dribble, or even when to pass the ball off

Set area approx 10x20 with 2 pug nets apart from each other at each end. Play 3v3 (or adj area for 2v2)
Activity:
Players play game and try to score in either of opponents 2 nets.
Coaching points:
Can players use dribbling skills to beat opponents or change direction? If player has beaten opponent or created space for themselves, can they run with the ball for a scoring opportunity?

Organization:
10-12 players per area, set with cones. Each player with ball
Activity:
Classic game of shark Each player dribbles in area, trying to keep control and protect their ball from other players while trying to knock other players ball out of the area. If ball is knocked out player leaves the area, this continues until one player remains. (knocked out player can perform dribbling tasks off to the side until there is a winner)
Progression: Team shark. 2 teams. Only knock out players on opposing team. Play until there is only players of 1 team remaining
Coaching points. -can you keep dribble close in order to protect ball? Are you able to manipulate ball by changing direction and speed to elude opponents. When to attack versus protect? Are you able to keep head up to identify threatening opponents, or teammates (in the progression)?
