4v2 distribution game
Game starts with a shot from one of the two defenders. GK makes save, then plays out to any player.
If GK scores right away, worth 1 goal. If he is able to combine with 2 players, 2 goals, 3 players, 3 goals, etc.
If defenders score, worth 2 goals.
Coaching points:
- What kind of distribution is the situation calling for? (roll, feet, split, throw?)
- How does your first touch move the defenders and change the angles?
- How can you find a pass that splits the defenders?
- What does playing to a wide player do to defenders? What is your first touch doing if you get it back from them?
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
GK wars - 4v4
Zone is slightly longer than 18 and split in half as shown. Little bit wider than the 6 yard box (tighten up for more challenge)
Keepers can score 1 goal from their defensive zone and 2 goals from attacking zone. Players are restricted to moving only in their zone.
If team is scored on, all players rotate. Make it take it.
Coaching points:
- How can you pass to take out as many defenders as possible?
- If not able to play forward, how can you move the ball to create a split to play through?
- How do players in the attacking zone move to find gaps to be an option?
- How does your first touch as a GK help you to pass?
- Adjust your feet always, for the touch and for the pass
- Touch with one foot pass with the other is the fastest way to move the ball two touch

First feed is to hands, ball is rolled back to central feeder.
Second feed is to feet, GK takes bigger sideways touch, adjusts feet, plays a wide player. Each gets 4 reps then rotate clockwise.
Coaching points:

- Aim to hit a specific foot for passer, show passer where you want the pass
- Bigger touch out of feet at a sideways angle to distribute
