Session Objective: Circle Passing - Ideal as part of warm up.To improve passing and receiving.
Organisation: 12 v 3 (vary numbers according to number of players but 4:1ratio in favour of outside players).
Extensions: development into multiple passing routines.Examples shown but list is endless and allows coach to create.
Example 1).A passes to 1 who feeds 2 who sets 3 who brings ball out.A joins edge of circle.Can vary with pass from 1 to 2 or to 4 and then set back to 3.
Example 2).B passes to 5 who feeds 6 and then drops back two yards.6 feeds 7who passes to B who sets to 5 to bring ball back into circle.
Variations and combinations endless.
Can involve movement around players.Example 3).C plays ball to 8,and runs around 8 and 9.* plays ball to 9m and C collects to bring back into circle.

Half Touches, Use of Sole of foot, Disguise.

Session Objective: To improve possession through movement before and after receiving ball.
Organisation:
Overload red team with two players unopposed in box in centre of pitch.Reds keep possession and can also play ball to players inside box.They have one touch each and ball is returned to outside.Can develop by player who plays ball into box takes place of player who plays ball out of box.
Key Factors:
Know where space is to take ball.
Create space to receive(movement before).
Angle/body shape to receive/touch (movement with)
Quality of pass (and movement after).

Session Objective:To improve shooting/attacking Play
Organisation:
Goal;four lines of players,cones.
(a)From line A,player 1 dribbles through cones and then takes shot at goal across keeper.He then continues involvement.
(b)Immediately from line B,player 2 plays 1-2 with player 1 and takes shot at goal.
(c) Immediately from line C player 3 plays pass to player 2 and sprints round as shown to receive pass back from 2 through gate of cones.3 then whips in cross across box for 2 and 1 to run on to and try to score.
(d)Immediately player 4 plays ball to either 2,3 or 1.He then partners whoever he gives ball to joins in a 2v2 to try and score.
All players clear pitch quickly and join next line (A joins B,B to C etc)
Developments:
(a)When clearing cone,1 takes goalkeeper on 1v1.
(b)2 must sidefoot shot,or take on 1v1,or chip shot.
(c)When 3 crosses ball ,must be headed finish.
Change cones to left side and work opposite way,encouraging use of other foot.
Key Factors:
Positive attitude to shoot,technique of striking/quality of shot.Running with ball,ball out of feet,head up,quality of cross,angles and runs of strikers.Angles to receive/movement to support in 2v2.

Key Factors: Pace run,stretch appropriately.
Players begin in two lines at A and B and follow circuit.Pass each other at C and return up side back to original starting point/
Vary demands:slow around course;increase pace across,slow on down run;increase pace down run,slow across;
Add ball at end of each set of posts.Variety of activities;move ball across past partner,leave ball at end and continue same through next set of poles.Take ball towards partner,chop turn and return,leave ball at end and continue same through next set of poles;go round partner with ball,leave ball at starting end and continue same through next set of poles.
