Organization: Same as previous screen
Instructions: Player blue will play the ball into white player. White player will attack blues net and try to score. If white is able to score from his defensive side of the field, the goal is worth two. If he finishes on attacking half it counts at one. First team to 7 goals win the match.
It is winners ball, so if white scores, the next blue will play the next white.
If blue wins the ball back, he can attack the other net. If blue scores then the next white will play the next blue.
If the ball goes out it stays with the team whos possesion it is. For example if blue takes a shot and it deflects off white, it is still blue and white will pass to blue.
15 seconds to shoot or both players off
Coaching Points:
Try to finish early before defender can close in
Judge the speed of the ball
Angled approach
Position of non-kicking foot
Contact on ball (changes with technique used)
Locking ankle
Low inside curl- Head down at point of contact, Non kicking foot in to the side of the ball, Contact is made with the inside of the foot, hitting the outside of the ball, Follow through comes back to the center of the body
Laces/ Driven Shot -
Body weight forward,
Chest and knee over the ball at contact
Follow through landing on striking foot
Positive attitude towards shooting
Follow through
