Skill Practice - Passing & Switching play
Targets
Progression - If teams on the outside are having too much success i will an additional defender in to press the ball.
Possible regression - if defending team are having too much success with two pressing players i will go back to having just one defender.

Skill Practice - Breaking through the final third
Area size - Half pitch with two mini goals.
Players - 12 players, 6 Red, 6 Blue, 2 GK.
Pitch will be split into three sections. Players aim is to keep possession of the ball before trying to break through the final third of the pitch. If the attacking team breaks through they are allowed an unopposed shot on target.
Condition - Players must play a through ball to one of their team mates to run onto into the final third.
Target - Can we play through, around or over for 2 points.
Challenge - Can we shoot with our less dominant foot

players split into pairs with one ball between them.
Passing and moving around the square to each other.
On coaches whistle, players must perform a 1v1 and try and retain the ball for as long as possible.
Coach will blow whistle again in 30 seconds, when the person with the ball must hold the ball above their head like a trophy.
Coaching points
