Organization:
Half field
3v3 in central grid. 2 central defenders on either side of field. 1 GK each team. 2 wingers each team in attacking third area. Coach will have balls on side of area as shown.
Instructions:
Coach will play ball into central grid. Players must connect 3-4 passes then can breakout to goal. Play becomes 3v2 to goal. To start, 1 player from the middle can go forward to create 4v2 in attacking third.

20x20 yard area

8v4 but numbers can be adapted
Instructions:
Players keep possession for 90 seconds. Defenders defend for 90 seconds. Roles are rotated.
Attackers gain point by completing 8 passes. Defenders gain point by winning ball and finishing on goal.
Coaching Points:
Defenders-Press, Cover and Stay Compact together to win the ball
Attackers-Play fast, quick short passing, combine with teammates, support players on ball, understand when to play 1-2 touch, be ready to receive pass
