Organization:
Two fields 12x15 yds each.
pugg goals set 5-6 yards off playing area as shown.
Each field:
4v4+1.
1 player from each team in attacking half.
2 players from each team in buildup half +1 player.
1 ball per field.
Instructions:
Team in possession must get 3 passes minimum then play into their target in attacking half.
One player can join in attacking half to support target player (Cannot be the +1 player) and one player from defending team can help defend (2v2).
The team in possession earns 1 point if target + support player can dribble or pass over endline (pass must be to teammate), 2 points if they score in the pugg goals.
If defensive players win the ball, they can play back to their team to try to acheive the same objective.
Coaching Points:
Think forward, play forward tools (body shape, scanning, quality of pass)
Provide lenght from the player on the attacking half
2nd attacker to support (timing of run, reading the cues)
3rd attacker - Exploit space.
Regressions:
Recovering defensive player disallowed (2v1 in attacking half)

Progression:
Remove 3 pass minimum in buildup.
Player on the ball in buildup half can dribble the ball to the attacking half

Introduction (15 mins)
Organization:
Two fields 12x15 yds each.
1 ball per field.
2 teams of 3 plus 2 neutral
Instructions:
Ball starts in either half.
Team in possession must complete 5 passes in one half then play to the neutral in the other half = 1 point.
Continuous, when ball is played to other half, the team who earned a point is looking to transition quickly to get 5 passes in that half and earn another point by playing back to the neutral in the opposite half.
Keep track of points.
2-3-minute games. Every team plays as neutrals.
Coaching Points:
Quality of first touch
Quality of pass
Think forward, play forward
Team shape in build up half (Width, distance)
Progressions:
Neutrals cannot play to neutrals.
When ball passed to the neutral, she has one touch to pass the ball.
Regressions:
Once a team gains possession, one defender on the opposite team must only defend side-to-side on the transition line. Other defenders can move freely.
