Organization:
1) 2 Goals with Groups of 6+ players
2) 5 cones in form of cross. 10-15 yards apart
Instructions:
1) Start with CM, who takes a touch and passes to striker
2) Striker checks and layoff to #10
3) #10 plays thtough ball to one of the outside players
4) Outside Mid checks out and crosses ball to striker
5) Striker run around opposite cone and finish
Coaching Points:
Striker
1) Access crosser
2) Run behind 'defender' for back post
Run infron 'defender' for first post
3) Crossers heads down = moment to change speed
Crosser
1) Assess Striker
2) Type of cross: Driven, bend, low, hight etc
3) Long touch + cross
4) Extra touch if striker needs extra time
