Organization:
Make a circle about 12 yards in diameter. Have players in groups of three, each group in a different colour with 2 players on the outside and 1 in the middle for each group. One ball per group. 3 groups to a circle
Instructions:
Each group starts with one player on the outside with a ball. The player on the outside passes into the middle player who passes to the other outside player. The ball gets passed back to the middle player and to the opposite side again. Every 30 seconds switch the role of the players.
Progression:
After an outside player passes a ball, they have to find a different part of the circle so the inside player has to be aware of where they moved.

3 Zone possession:
3 teams of 4/5 in each of the 3 zones. 4v2 is created in the 1st zone, the attacking team try to connect 3 passes and play the ball into the opposite zone (the ball can go through the central zone if needed). 1 point each time the ball is transferred.

Set Up:
3v3 + 2 neutral wide players. Directional Small sided game. Both wide players must in stay wide areas.
Description:
Normal game to goal. A goal scored that has involved both wide players without possession changing is worth 5 goals. Once goal has been socred in one goal, the scoring team stay in possession and attack the opposite goal. Wide players can be challenged but cannot tackle others.
Progression. Wide players can enter the field but stay neutral.
Switch pass must be 20 yards.
Neutral players become part of teams to make 4v4.
Coaching Points:
Body shape when receiving for switch pass, open, to see the whole picture.
Draw the opposition into narrow areas, keeping the ball centrally, freeing up the space wide, ready for the switch.
Play the switch pass in front of wide players to run on to.

Session Explanation
Players dribble to the yellow cone in the middle and practice a turn outlined by the coach. They must perform the turn before the yellow cone and then dribble back to where they started. The next person goes.
Turns to work on:
1. Inside Cut
2. Outside Cut
3. Drag Back
4. Drag Back L Turn
For players more advanced can include Cruyff turn and Maradona turn.
Progression
Include a passive defender standing on the Yellow cone for each group- Players must perform a turn and push away.
Place lots of different cones in the middle of the yellow grid. Players have to dribble through the yellow grid without hitting cones to the opposite side.
