Instructions: - different juggling combinations (3-5)

Intro - Shooting Reps (15 mins)

Organization: - 10x15 area

- two grids if needed (4 max)

- two small goals per grid

Instructions: - player (1) takes touch left or right

- player (2) opens up in opposite direction

- player (1) passes to player (2)

- players (2) receives, opens up and passes to player (3)

- player (3) takes receiving touch, prep touch, and then shoots on small goals

- players rotate - 1,2,3,1 (resting player if needed)

- if two grids, first grid to 10 goals wins

- fast paced to minimize wait time

Coaching Points/Questions: - Non-kicking foot placed to side, slightly behind the ball

- Locking ankle

- Head down at the point of contact

- Body weight forward, chest and knee over the ball at contact

- Follow through landing on striking foot

When to shoot?

Regressions/Progressions: - rotate left foot/right foot

- add defender (player 1) after pass to player 3

Main Activity - Shadow Shooting (15 mins)

Organization: - 20x30 area

- two teams (4 max)

- big goal

Instructions: - player (1) takes touch central

- player (2) opens up wide

- player (1) passes to player (2)

- players (2) receives, opens up and passes to player (3)

- player (3) takes receiving touch, prep touch, and then shoots on goal

- after shot, shooting player becomes GK for opposition team

- players rotate - 1,2,3,GK,1 (resting player if needed)

- first team to 10 goals wins

- fast paced to minimize wait time

Coaching Points/Questions: - Non-kicking foot placed to side, slightly behind the ball

- Locking ankle

- Head down at the point of contact

- Body weight forward, chest and knee over the ball at contact

- Follow through landing on striking foot

When to shoot?

Regressions/Progressions: - left/right foot

- add defender from opposition team (player 2) live on final pass for 1v1, add counter goals/endzone

Organization: - 3v3s

- resting team if needed

- field divided in to three zones

Instructions: - first to 5 goals wins or 3min

- Score is awarded based on zone shot came from (1,2 or 3)

Coaching Points: - Non-kicking foot placed to side, slightly behind the ball

- Locking ankle

- Head down at the point of contact

- Body weight forward, chest and knee over the ball at contact

- Follow through landing on striking foot

When to shoot?

Regressions: - No zone 3

- Adjust size of zones
