1v1 - Semi Opposed - 10 second time limit?
Attacker dribble at defender
Defender (rotate on intervals)
-Approach to ball (quick then slow)
-Backwards movement to keep play in front
-Body shape / stance (down line of ball, low, show player where? (Outside - use touchline to defend)
-Patience

-Attacker starts in middle, back to goal. - Movement to create space and face up defender or turn?
-Defender, stop attacker from turning and running. If he does turn then can we delay and dictate

-Can defender win the ball and either drive to end zone or play to a blue? (rotate on intervals)
Progression
-Attacker starts in middle, back to goal. - Movement to create space and face up defender or turn?
-Defender, stop attacker from turning and running. If he does turn then can we delay and dictate, decision making can we tackle? How to tackle, then what? play forward or drive?
1v1 - Competitive
-If you are in the middle after the 3 minutes then 10 burpees, 20 press ups, 20 situps.
-If 1 player always in middle then Chesters Vest!

2 V 1 - Opposed - Offside in play
Defender

- Stop turn
- Deny space behind
- Dictate play / manipulate opponent
- Decision making? (Win ball or intercept?)
- Send player backwards
- If win ball play forward or drive.

2 v 1 - Opposed - Offside in play
Start with a pass into the striker.

-Delay - Slow down attack - Allow time for Defender B to recover

Game 1 - Transitions
Coach will make a ball dead when in the attacking half and allow defending team to counter with a new ball.

Recovery runs. Players have to leave field if they shoot in the following rules:
Shoot and miss or save - 2 players
Shoot and score - 1 player

Winner stays on
Team on outside must setup in quarters ready to join the play.
If team conceed they leave the pitch and are replaced by team on the outside.
Multi directional - score and attack the opposite way.

1. Delay attack - slow down attackers create time
-How to delay? Dropping keep play in front (stay down line of ball).
-Where to delay? What area of the pitch? could this change?
-Would you squeeze? what problems are there height or depth.
-How does the keeper fit into this? Communication / Starting position
2. Dictate play
- Where do you want to show them to if possible?
- Why?
- Then what? Stay between ball and goal, stop cross / ball into box.
3. Deny
- Deny space where?
- How do we deny space? Keeper?
- Deny forward pass?
- Deny pass centrally?
4. Recovery
- How do we recover?
- Where do we recover to?
- Mark the attacker?
- Offer cover?
- Offer balance?
