Two team possession w/ interchanging outside players:
Two teams posess at the same time. When using the players on the outside the outside player must use their first touch to enter the grid. Once the outside player comes inside, an inside player must interchange with them and take their place on the outside. Various challenges can be given to the players insofar as touch restrictions, speed of play, combinations, skill, turns, vision, etc.

Two teams compete in a game each defending and attacking two gates.

7v7 + 1 GK
Two teams compete in a match-like setting with one team attacking a goal w/ gk and the other team is attacking two gates.
Coaching Points:
-How do you eliminate defenders?
-What can you do to move the ball faster?
-What should you do immediately after lossing the ball?
-What if you're team can't win the ball back right away?

8v8 game
Coaching Points:
-how can you eliminate players
-recognize when to possess or when to combine
-body position and off the ball movement
-if you can't press straight away, recover and funnel
Rondos
A 5v2 keep away game with the players on the outside forming a tight circle and attempting to keep the ball away from the two players in the middle. When the defender wins the ball back they then switch with the player who lost the ball. This activity should be done as players are arriving with the purpose of getting them focused on the upcoming session. This activity can be altered to accommodate your current numbers; 4v1, 6v3, etc.
