Organization:

- 1 goal on each end with cones 6 feet apart
- 3 Teams of 3 players
- Pinnies
Instructions:
- SSG with goals scored through cones. FIFA rules football.
- Winning team stays on
- Winning attacks opposite team that they just scored
Coaching Points:
- Pressure, cover, and balance
- Closest to ball applies pressure and other defenders provide cover and balance
- Defensive body positioning to force attacker to weak side and away from goal

Organization
- 2 fields, each 15x10
- One mini goal at one end of the area marked by cones
- 3 defenders and 3 attackers
- Attackers begin on their own goal line and defenders begin at far corner at goal end
- Balls kept behind attackers
Instructions
- The defender becomes active as soon as attacker touches the ball forward
- If the defender wins possession of the ball, the defender can attempt to score by dribbling ball over opposition's goal line
Progression
- An attacker can pass back to get second attacker into play. A second defender then becomes active making it 2v2
Coaching Emphasis
- Defender closes space quickly and as high as possible (preferrably past orange cones)
- Angle of approach
- Close down, slow down

Warm-up (10 mins)

- One ball per partnership
Instructions:
- Attackers dribble ball and defenders defend passively
- After 30 Yards players reverse their role
- Each player goes 5 times.
