Overload practice looks at adding additional players on the outside where they are locked into certain areas of the field in wide areas. These players are working off one or two touch and must combine with a central player before playing into target player (gk)
Movement betwee central zones is restricted to start with to one player out of possesion/in possesion depending on the success of the practice.
Teams objective is to bulld and play through two zones at least to then play into target player. After a short period of success begin to encourage shots at target and look to score goals. Defenders look to defend areas of the field and win possesion back. If transition occurs teams look to counter attack and score goals. Pass conditions can be intrduced or one touch finish.

Progression with additional players and neutral players build on patternsof play paying out the back. Neutral players play off one touch and each team can move 1 player through the areas when required.
Build Up Practice (15 mins)
Build Up play
POTB back session
Attacking team looks to make either 3 passes or combine with 3 different players before platying into the target player at the opposite end.
Defending team looks to spoil build up play and defend effectively underloaded. If possesion is lost defending team look to counter attack and score in the goal that is being built up from.
Successfull passages will include combinations to get out from zone 1 and combine with higest player before playing into target player. If they are successfull target player plays into opponent for them to have a chance of building up with. To start with players stay in zones.
Neutral players can be added to the side of the practice if needed or can have a floater play in the middle.
