Behind the ball SSG (Morris & cocky)
- Game 6v6 and 2 GK's
- Maximum 3 touch to create a high tempo.
Rule 1 = You can not tackle the opposition unless you are in your own half of the pitch.
Rule 2 = You can not score until all team mates in possession are in the oppositions half.
- Half way line marked out above.
- To encourage players getting back behind the ball quickly to become hard to break down
- To encourage players to squeeze the ball and play going forward
- Now complete set 1 of Agility runs

Possession game 4 v 4 + 4 (Mike)
- Area to be 35 x 35 yards
- 3 teams of 4
- To start yellow and red team look to keep possession against the red team.
- 5 passes = 1 goal
- If the red team win the ball or cut a pass and the ball goes out the team that gave away possession replaces them as the team who defend.
- Tempo must be high and quality of passing good
- Players have a maximum 3 touches
- Play to be stopped every 4 minutes to ensure a short break retains tempo and quality.
- Now complete set 3 of Agility runs

Possession game - 4 v 4 + 4 in box zones (Myself)
- Area to be 25 x 35 yards
- 4 3 x 3 yard boxes marked out in the 4 corners of the area
- Each box to have a player stood in
- Rest of area will play a 4 v 4 possession game
- Teams look to keep possession using the 4 players in the boxes
- 5 passes = 1 goal
- Team in the boxes to rotate out every 2-3 minutes
- Tempo must be high and quality of passing good
- Now complete set 4 of Agility runs

4 Sets of Agility Runs (Morris & Cocky)
- Each Agility run will be run 3 times to complete the set
- All 4 Agility runs to be completed
- The Agility run's will be completed one drill is completed (detailed previously)

4 Sets of Diamond Runs (Myself)
- Each Diamond Run will be complete with a rest period inbetween each run
- 4 Diamond runs to be completed in total
- The set of 4 diamond runs will be completed after one of the ball drills (detailed previously)

Sets of Endurance Runs (Mike)
- Each Endurance Run will be complete with a rest period inbetween each run
- 3 Endurances runs are to A and back, B and back and C and back. Completed x2
- When players reach A,B,C the following should be completed;
A - 20 press ups
B - 20 Sit ups
C - 20 squats
- The set of 3 endurance runs will be completed after one of the ball drills (detailed previously)
Yo Yo Test (15 mins)
Yo Yo Test (All)
- All players to participate
- Players split into 2 groups as above and line up facing each other
- Distance between players is 20 metres
- Players to start on line (as above) and shuttle run to opposite line and back - This totals a 40 metre run
- After 40 metre shuttle run players to have 10 second rest while other group complete the same run
- Players to have rest period once they go past the line
- Average level for a pro is 25 - therefore start target as 15 shuttle run sets
