All players on the sessiion will preform in the skills square. This will be a warm up and chance to try the skill numbers.
After 10 minutes in the skills square spilt into three groups. Each coach woll take a grouo and rotate around the three stations. Coaches are not to stick on a station.
Each group will spend 12-15 minutes on each of the three stations. The lead coach will decide on with topic option to use that day. DO NOT DELIVER BOTH OPTIONS.

THE SESSION: Inflatable Field
Set Up:
Players in equal teams of four or five
Do not have more than five players on a field, if not enough players for three teams then both teams must have subs
Subs will change every 30 seconds
If three teams, new team will come on every minute
Players set up in a diamond with four players or a diamond and a goalkeeper with five players
Key Messages:
Try to let the kids play
If they are bunching calls out key word 'positions' and they have five seconds to reset into their positions
Rotate positions as often as possible

THE SESSION: Space Wars
Set Up: 20x20
Divide the group into two teams, every player with a ball each , both teams in different bibs
Both teams are a fleet or star fighters and stand on their launch pads
On the coaches ball the fleets leave their lauch pads and start to attack each other
To score you must kick your ball to knock an opponents ball out into space (out the area) whilst keeping your ball in the area
If your ball leaves the area you have been shot down and must leave the area
At the end of the battle the fleet with the most remaining star fighters are the winners
Progressions:
You can hit the ball or the opponent below the knee to get them out
Key Messages:

Weight of pass
Close control
Awareness of opponents

THE SESSIONS: Earth v Mars
Set Up: 15x15
Spilt the group in half, one group are astronauts on planet earth and the other aliens from mars
Have the astronauts wear a space suit (a bib)
All the aliens have a lazer each (a ball), all other balls in the planet mars corner
The astronauts must run around the area avoiding the alients
The alients try to hit them with their lazer below the knee
If a astronaut gets hit, he takes off his space suit and gets a lazer from planet mars
The astronauts are allowed back on planet earth for 3 seconds at a time
Key Messages:

Weight of pass
Awareness of space
Change of direction and speed

THE SESSION: 2v1
Set Up: 10x20 x 2
One defender with the ball and two attackers on the opposite side
The defender passes the ball to either attacker and closes them down
The two attackers work together to score in the mini goal
The defender can score a point by dribbling past the end line
Once ball is out next group go
Rotate every 1-2 minutes

Decision Making - pass or dribble

ALL CHILDREN FROM EVERY AGE GROUP WILL TAKE PART IN THE SAME SQUARE. ONCE THE 10 MINUTES IS UP YOU CAN SPLIT THE GROUPS UP
Every player with a ball each
Players first dribble around the area freely
The coach shows all the players the skill numbers for the day
5. Cruyff/Drag Back
6. Scissors
As the coach calls a number the players must say what the skill number is and preform the skill at a cone
Key Messages:
Plently of touches on the ball
Take time with the skills - may be some childrens first try
Coach on the run (try not to stop the session)
