Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): 4v2 Transfer game (10 players)

Method:

• 5 sets of players in different colours (10 players)
• Pressing pair to begin are yellow - they enter the end square to press red and green players in a 4v2 
• They play through or around the pressing players into the middle zone 
• Players in the middle zone recieve the ball behind the manneguins (on the back foot ) and play across to the 2 players on the other side 
• Middle zone pair enter the end zone and the passin pair take their place 
• On a turnover player to loose ball , their pair become pressers 

Coaching Points:

• Pressing pair react aggressively and quickly 
• Play on the shoulder or behind your opponent to allow you to break the opposiyions press 
• Play fast paced passes to the back foot of recieving player 
• Calm in possession 
• Find the spare player
