Organization:
Instructions:
- Coach introduces Ronaldo dribble (cut/chop ball with inside & outside part of foot)
- Players perform dribble inside area
- Instruct players to accelerate into positive space after cutting ball
- 6 Ronaldo touches with inside right and outside right then immediately switch to left (repeat action)
Coaching Points:
- Maximize number of touches on ball with close control
- Begin to build a relationship with the ball and rhythm with your touches
- 'Head on a string' head goes up, eyes peak forward to avoid collision and continue flow of dribble
- Bend knees to create a platform to accelerate and a low center of gravity approach
- Stabilize upper body to improve balance on the move
- Avoid linear (predictable) dribbling, zig-zag patterns (unpredictability)
- Spatial awareness
- Confidence and Creativity
Progression:
- Players dribble as fast as they can for 30 seconds when coach commands, match speed
- If player losses control within 30 seconds they must do 5 star jumps before continuing the dribble

- Players perform dribble inside area
- The ball must roll at all times
- 5 Henry touches with right then immediately switch to left (repeat action)

-Players: 12 players (4 groups of 3)
-1 ball per player
Instructions:
-Player in front of line dribbles to cone
-Player dribbles to cone then uses a dribble technique to turn back to the starting point

Progressions:
-Have players only use one foot at a time
-Players who finishes 1st earns 1pt

-Objective is to dribble the ball into either net using dribbling techniques (Messi, Ronaldo, Henry)
