Objectives:
1. Reinforce key coaching points for each skill.
2. Promote encouragement within the teams.

Equipment: Set of cones, session plan, whistle, 16-26 footballs
Venue: St Monica's Primary School
Population Group: Children (Primary 5, 6 & 7), mixed ability

Tactical Game based for fun |
Organizational / Instructions
Knockout:
Each child with a ball. Dribbling around. Control and protect their ball without someone knocking it out of the area. Once knocked out, join back in after 10 seconds.

Decrease area size
Add in forfeits
Can use other balls as substitutes (e.g. volleyballs)

Relay Races:
Split into 4 teams (more or less depending on numbers). Dribble with ball up and around cone and back to team. Give ball to teammate. Sit down in a line once everyone has gone.

Introduce yourself and other coaches and what the participants will be doing during the session.

Traffic Lights:
Each participant has 5 lives. Red = stop. Orange = jog on spot. Green = walk/ jog. The coach can use coloured bibs, cones or call out the colour.
