Organization:
Instructions: Red team plays ball to the ouside. The 3 blue try to win the ball and score as quickly as possible. If the red team plays the ball out to the sides the blue team has to retreat to their side, only one defender can go to the side where the ball is and try to win it back.
Red from the wing can either shoot at goal. Or cross . Wen shot is taken, the red go inside and defend. 1 of the blue goes in the middle (like the red) and the other 2 go wide. First one to 5 goals win or 1:30 seconds. Rest for 45 and do again. Winner plays the winner from the other 3 v 3.
Coaching Points/Questions: get wide. look for a positive touch going forward. wing player gets into the middle as quickly as possible to provide option. Run with body shaped ready to receive the ball.
Regressions/Progressions: send defender to the outside. and try to win ball.

Coaching Points/Questions: Middle player quick to play the ball outwide. The players out wide, open hips, receive with foot that is closest to the goal you are trying to score on. First touch push into space. Get under control to find the target shoot or cross. The player that doesn't receive the ball makes run into middle, player that passed the ball to the outside taking that player's position and getting wide.
