Body Part Dribbling (15 mins)

Set Up: 

  • Every player starts with a ball.
  • Field size 20 (L) x 20 (W).

Action: 

  • Players with a ball are to start by dribbling around the area.
  • The coach calls out a body part (e.g., chest) and player are to rest their chest on the ball.
  • This changes each time with a different body part.
Variation/Progressions
  • The time of sets or size of the area can be adjusted to suit the needs and abilities of the players.
  • Aim to improve running/dribbling with the ball.
  • Call out 2 or 3 body parts at the same time.

Player Tips:

  • As Above.

Coaching Points:

  • Correct running/dribbling with the ball technique.
  • Force field of control.
  • Quick touches to the ball.
  • Embrace creativity.

Session Timing:

  • Complete 3 sets of 4 minutes with a 1 minute rest in between sets.
