Organization:
1. 15x15 grid set up as shown
2. One ball per player
3. Each player must start with their ball at their feet
Storyline/Instructions:
1. Each player ‘s ball is their Bumper Car
2. Player’s will get 30 second to dribble around the field and bump as many cars as they can.
3. Players “bump” cars by tapping their soccer ball onto someone else’s.
Coaching Points:
1. Stay in area
2. Chin off chest - Head up to find friends
3. Dribble with the correct surface of foot, pinky toe
4. Small touches vs big touches
a. Big touches to get close to another player
b. Smaller touches when you get closer
5. No kick and run, no chasing the ball
Progressions:
1. Decrease time limit
2. Make area smaller
3. Add on a rule, i.e. right foot only, left foot only, small touches, big touches
Regressions:
1. Increase Time limit
2. Increase area of play

Activity 1 (10 mins)
Organization:

Storyline/Instructions:
1. Each player‘s ball is their Bumper Car
2. Player’s will get 30 second to run around the field and bump as many cars as they can.
3. Players “bump” cars by tapping their soccer ball onto someone else’s. They can toss the ball or keep it in their hands - coach decides.
Coaching Points:
1. Staying in the area
2. Head up to find friends
3. Big steps to get to friends
4. Little steps to slow down
Progressions:
1. Decrease time limit
2. Make area smaller
3. Add on a rule, i.e. hop with ball in hand, skip with ball in hand, shuffle with ball in hand, etc
4. Change ball to feet - See next activity
Regressions:
1. Increase Time limit
2. Increase area of play
